Here’s the forum post advertising the second story I posted on NT. In February ’16, in an attempt to reach out and connect with Readers—perhaps meet a few new interesting individuals—I made a Lit forum post asking for ideas for new lesbian stories. “Come Out, Come Out…” became one of the results.
This is about as political as my material gets. The story is based on a somewhat true story by the person who gave me the idea. He and his friends all voted for gay marriage to pass, except for one, due to pressure from her particularly conservative Christian parents. Even so, her best friend is especially stung by her vote. Even in a less than homo-friendly household, she wonders how her dear Christian-raised friend would feel were she in love and not allowed to celebrate it in marriage. And so it begins.
