As at today, 29 May 2020,  my last two stories have been read by a total of 1410 people but not one has made a comment. Why? Surely there is at least one of the 1410 who thinks my writing is bloody awful and perhaps another who thinks it is marvellous. Many of the 1410 must be writers contributing to these pages and they must appreciate the back pats and accept the contrary. An occassional comment, especially from the senior writers, would be much appreciated.

My view is that feedback is essential to every writer. How else can we measure how well, or poorly, we are delivering what the reader likes to read.In this venue we cannot judge by sales figures. We need feedback - comments.
