I'm just wondering that since we are now in the age of technology and have been for a number of years if the idea of getting your story published by turning your work into an editor is something in the past? I've noticed that there are a ton of sites on the internet that offer different stories and it seems easy enough to just start your own and post it. Plus, now that so many people have kindles or other reading devices where you pay to read stories, you can still earn money for your work. What do you think? Are publishing companies still the way to go?
