This year the Museum of Broken Relationships opened in Los Angeles, California. It is the second museum of its kind in the world. The first Broken Relationship Museum was opened a decade ago as a conceptual art installation in Zagreb, Croatia. The Los Angeles museum showcases 115 donated items that have been curated to take visitors on a diverse emotional journey. These items showcase the love, pain, drama, irony, humor and reconciliation of various broken relationships. More than 1000 items from around the world have come to the Museum to be considered for display. Most of us have experienced a broken love relationship and all of the various emotions that come with it.
